Conections to the Shadows

At Southdale Junior High, the Clarks are preparing for class as they opened their lockers to grab their books.

"Okay, guys. So what your plans after classes? I'm going to shoot some hoops at the gym," Lee asked to his siblings as he finished grabbing his books for his next class.

"Well, I've got to go to the computer club for a meeting," Marc replied as he also closed his locker.

"And I'm supposed to go work on my Social Studies project. Unfortunetely, my project partner is Tami," Megan said as she angrily slam her locker closed.

"Wow, I would like to see you two together, but I'm gonna play some Hero Deck what I'll always do. See ya!" Tony as he closed his locker. But when he was about to go to his next class, he was stopped by Marc.

"Hold it right there, mister. You do remember the exams tomorrow, right? You have to study or you'll end up in our room all day without missions like last time," Marc said to his younger brother.

"Okay, then you’re gonna tutor me after class."

"Hello? I'll be at the computer room all day, so you’re on your own," Marc said as he left the lockers along with Megan and Lee as they said their goodbye to their younger brother.

"Don't worry; I don't need to study anyway. Cause I've a lucky charm in my hand," Tony said as he wore his necklace, which he doesn't notice a faint glow on his pendant as he hid it under his shirt.

At lunch, Tony walked out the classroom and decided to meet up with his siblings at the cafeteria.

Suddenly, he saw something moving behind the lockers. When Tony took a closer look, he saw a strange shadow-like creature behind it.

"Are you the one?" Tony became startled when the creature asked.

"Are you a soul?" Tony became confused at the creature's questions.

"Err, no, I'm not. Goodbye!" He quickly tried make a run to the cafeteria, but another creature blocked his escape.

"We are not your enemies," the creature calmly said to the frightened boy.

Another creature appeared behind Tony, which startled him even more.

"We are the messengers from the Dark Realm," the creature behind Tony said.

"We're here to give you a present."

"You shall be given a gift of darkness," the creature from the lockers said to Tony.

"And the weapon to purify the corrupted souls within them," the creature in front of him continued.

"Okay, now I get it. I've got some strange nightmares every day. So all of you are not real, I'm dreaming back at the classroom. I do tend to sleep a lot at class," Tony said to the shadow-like creatures as he backed away from the creature that is blocking the hallway.

"We are not illusions; we came for you, Anthony Clark." The shadow came closer as the Tony quickly backs away from the shadow creatures.

"Stay back, I warned you! I'm have a black belt in spy jutsu," Tony panickly warned the creatures as they came closer and closer to the panicked boy.

"You have born from the darkness and you shall gain the knowledge of darkness within you!"

Then, without warning, the creatures attacked Tony just like a zombie bite a victim in horror movies. Tony screamed as loud as he can, but for some reason, there's no sign of Principal Shields or his siblings or some students and teachers in the hallway.

Suddenly, the creatures exploded in the black and purple light, which enveloped inside the whole school.

As the lights have died out, the creatures have disappeared, leaving the poor boy on the floor and hallways become intact, as if the attack was never happened.

When he opened his eyes, it revealing that his vivid emerald eyes, are now replaced by a darker green color with crescent-shaped pupil on the center.
