<UNIQUE FEATURES>

Like all MMORPGs, players can control of their custom-made characters called avatars to take story and optional quests and battle monsters inside the SRO game world called Lumen. Other than battling monsters to gain experiences and obtain rare items and equipments, players can create or join guilds or as the game called them Soul Clans to enhance the experience by having a guild battle called a "Clash of the Soul Clans", where Soul Clans pit against each other and destroy each other's "Resonate Gem" in order to obtain rare Clan items and equipments and claim the opposing Clan's home base.

But unlike all the other MMORPGs, Soul Resonance Online has a few unique game features that are only available in this game. Some of these are very unique due to its controversial, yet favorable system.

Immersive Gateway 3D: A unique hypnotic program that is treated as a virtual reality feature of Soul Resonance Online. Using the hypnotic code in the game and its cut scenes, it will delve the players even more in the game and without a use of a virtual reality helmet, the players will feel, touch, taste, smell, and feel pain inside the game.

Persona Shift Sequence: Another hypnotic feature of IG3 that alters the player's personality to become his/her avatar in the game and enhance their abilities in the game, making it a famous role-playing tool in SRO. Also as another version of the Invisible status, the PSS suppresses the real-life memories and depending on their settings, they can remember their memories a little bit as a different person or to become their avatars completely.

Anti-Hacking and Virus System: Soul Resonance Online have the highest-level security system created to avoid not only to observe game crash reports and viruses, but also hackers who wants to misuse the IG3 and PSS for their own personal gain.

Social Resonance Mobile App: With the mobile companion app of SRO, Social Resonance, players will socialize with their friends and play mini-games inside the different and exclusive in-game location of SRO when they are away from their computers.

Exclusive Servers: There are exclusive servers only available in each country, with the game's 3 main servers as melting pot servers to all versions of SRO.

<GAMEPLAY>

Departing from point-and-click MMORPGs, Soul Resonance Online uses the combination of console-type RPG gaming and MMORPG skill hotkeys gameplay to enhance the players' experience with IG3 in the game. Beginner players often plays at their keyboards for those who are new to this game and the MMORPG game world, while veterans and professional players uses video game controllers connected to their PCs to enhance their hardcore gaming in SRO.

While the controls and gameplay are simple, yet challenging, the IG3 can simulate the player's senses, thinking that they are in another world while playing the game. Due to this, their battle abilities and their movements in their minds are in sync and carried over in the game, which they are enhanced when using the Persona Shift Sequence.
